Uh-oh. Summer is almost here. That means the kids are out of school and you might be wondering what you're going to do all summer. Sure, the first few days are great, but then the choruses of "I'm bored" will kick in!
Where do you turn when you are out of ideas? How about checking out the FedEx Out of Office Blog? It's filled with creative and crafty ideas that are sure to keep your kiddos busy all summer long. Best of all, new ideas are always being added, so you'll have fresh ideas to last the hot summer days or the rainy days that make you feel like you're going to pull your hair out. Yes, I've been there and done that!
I really like the Kite idea. It looks so easy. The only items it requires are:
Kite template file
1 sheet of 8.5” x 11” sheet of cardstock, any color
Markers, stickers, and/or colored pencils
¾” clear tape
Scissors
Hole puncher
10’ or more of string
Colorful ribbon
1 thin wooden skewer or something similar, such as those used for kebabs
That looks so simple that I think even I could make it--and I consider myself "craft-challenged!" I even have most of those things just sitting around the house. What could be easier?
The blog also has ideas for party ideas, so if you're planning a baby shower, bridal shower or even an Oscar Party, you can pick up a few ideas here. For my fellow bloggers, there are suggestions for building your business. It seems the FedEx Out of Office Blog is filled with great ideas we all can use. Check it out for the craft ideas, but come back for all the other great info they have posted!
